Invisalign

Invisalign can be used to treat the vast majority of common problems for adults and children. Using advanced 3-D computer imaging technology to project tooth movement, Invisalign allows you to visualise your treatment from start to finish through animated visuals. With Invisalign, the wires, elastics, and brackets that are used in other traditional methods are replaced by minimalist plastic aligners. The streamlined design of Invisalign is both simpler to work with and more aesthetically pleasing.

Whether your smile needs minor improvements or more extensive adjustments, Invisalign can help. It is successful in treating crowded or widely spaced teeth, and it can also relieve more complex issues, such as overbites, overjets, under bites and even cross bites. Your orthodontist can use Invisalign clear aligners in all or part of many treatment plans.
The aligners gradually reposition your teeth over the period of treatment – the length of which is determined by the complexity of the case. You will need to go in periodically for a few orthodontic appointments in order to check your treatment progress and make sure your teeth are responding to the aligners

Every two weeks you will have to replace the old aligner for a new one which will continue to guide your teeth in the necessary direction. Each new aligner may give an initial feeling of minor discomfort for a couple of days – this sensation is typically described as a feeling of pressure and is a sign that Invisalign is working.

Invisalign aligners must be worn all day, except when brushing, flossing or eating. Fortunately, because you can remove your aligners to eat and drink you can still eat all your favourite foods. After each meal, just make sure that you brush your teeth prior to re-inserting your aligners to maintain good hygiene.

Clear braces

For patients who do not wish to show metal brackets on their front teeth, there is the option of transparent brackets.

There are various kinds of transparent brackets; plastic or silicone and others of ceramic materials such as hard porcelain. The porcelain brackets are placed in the same way as the metal ones on the front of the teeth; they do not change color, although the rubber bands used to join the orthodontic wire to the brackets may become discolored from food or drinks, such as coffee, tea, wine, etc. However, these bands are replaceable by the orthodontist.

Incognito Lingual Braces

Lingual braces are a new treatment for teeth straightening – the brackets are invisible as they are fixed to the inside of the teeth instead of the front, making it the most aesthetically pleasing straightening treatment. This technique, which began in the USA and Japan during the seventies, is now very popular in Europe and the Far East.

The lingual orthodontic device comprises brackets that are attached to the inside of the teeth with a flexible wire that passes through the brackets, applying pressure to the teeth. During treatment, the lingual appliance is adjusted by your orthodontist every 5-6 weeks. Oral hygiene is particularly important when using lingual braces.

A period of about one week to ten days is required to adapt to the lingual appliance. During this initial period, your speech may be slightly affected and you may experience slight tongue discomfort and difficulty in chewing. These discomforts usually pass within a few days. The duration of treatment with lingual orthodontics is the same as with metal brackets and depends on the patient’s type of orthodontic needs. The end result is no different to that of traditional treatment, although there are some orthodontic difficulties that are more easily solved with lingual brackets. This treatment provides a solution for the most varied orthodontic problems, from simple to the most complicated.

Lingual orthodontic treatment is more expensive than regular orthodontic treatment, as the appliance is more costly and is prepared in the laboratory individually for each patient, it also requires special training of the orthodontist as well as vast experience.

Incognito Orthodontic Braces are a unique choice for patients as they are placed on the back side of the teeth, completely hidden from view. Incognito Orthodontic Braces lets you
smile with confidence both during and after treatment

Damon Braces

The Damon System is not just about revolutionary braces and wires – it’s a whole new way of treating patients. Traditional treatments often requires removal of healthy teeth and/or the use of palatal expanders to make space, which can be uncomfortable and time consuming. Damon smiles let you achieve full and natural smiles by using light biologically-sensible forces, and are specifically designed to improve the overall facial result of each patient.

Inman aligners

The Inman Aligner is the perfect solution for crowding or protrusion of the front teeth. It is extremely fast, safe and great value compared to other treatments. The patented Inman Aligner gently guides your front teeth to an ideal position in a matter of weeks. Most cases are completed in 6 – 16 weeks. It is even removable so you can take it out, to fit with your lifestyle.

The Inman Aligner is a simple removable appliance that is used to align front teeth quickly and safely. It is ideal as a stand alone treatment or to prealign teeth prior to further cosmetic options such as bonding or minimal veneers. It has Nickel Titanium coil springs that power two aligner bows that gently oppose each other, guiding the teeth into their new position. The inner bow pushes forwards, while the outer bow pulls back on the front teeth.

For suitable cases, the Inman Aligner is usually much faster than alternative orthodontic techniques. Most cases are completed within 6 – 18 weeks. In order to fit the Aligner, impressions are needed so that the lab can fabricate your custom made Inman Aligner. Checks are then needed every 2-3 weeks.

Orthocaps

Orthocaps offers an innovative treatment called the TwinAligner® system. This system, designed by orthocaps, comprises two types of transparent aligners which differ from one another by their composition and the amount of pressure they exert. These new and distinct types of aligners means that the orthocaps invisible orthodontic correction system is especially comfortable to wear.
