Superb dentist in Golders Green

Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Feedback is essential when running a business, whether it’s negative or positive, so we were absolutely delighted to discover that a patient had posted a review on ‘London Online’ about her visit.

Mrs Luttenbacher attended our North London practice in Temple Fortune last year and was very pleased with the service provided by Dr Ian Davis, she also had very positive comments about Rachel Lister our hygienist and the receptionists.  So much so, she recommended her husband to us.

Should you wish to read the review please follow the link below:

Ellie Bergin teaches final year dental students!

Tuesday, April 27th, 2010

Some of our patients have asked why I don’t work on a Monday. Contrary to popular misconception it isn’t because (as one patient recently remarked) I’m out playing golf!

I spend my Monday’s teaching final year dental students. I find it incredibly rewarding. Not only do I have the opportunity to impart my knowledge and experience helping train tommorrow’s  young dentists, but I also find it keeps me up to date!

Bart’s and the Royal London school of medicine and dentistry (like all dental schools) ensures that all students are taught to a gold standard of clinical techniques so being involved with teaching the 4th and 5th year students really keeps me on my toes!

But there’s another secret. Unlike the main site of Barts and London, which is in smoky central London. The facility I teach in is in Southend, so the teaching is not only rewarding it’s by the seaside!

Now thats better than playing golf.

Toothville triptych

Ian being interviewed by the BBC

Dr Ian Davis has always been creative and often expresses this through his hobby of photography, as well of course, in cosmetic dentistry.

Over the past year, he has combined photography with dentistry to produce original dental photographic art, that has literally gone nationwide.  So far his art has been shown in The Metro, Daily Mail, Evening Standard and The National Geographic.  He has submitted a Triptych and artistic photo book of Toothville to the Royal Academy of Art for their summer exhibition.

If you would like to view or purchase any of the Toothville pictures please visit  www.toothville.com
